Following a successful outfitters season, Joe needs to rest and get out of the snow. With Logan and Rene by his side. They head south for the Arizona desert. Knowing they must work their gold claim, they intend to spend several months in the Arizona sun. Everything changes, however, when a man from Joe's past, along with Hector, recognizes him. Informing Hector that the cartels are offering a million dollars for Joe alive. Then they find out they are in Hector's town, and it's a fight for their lives.
