From the mountains and desserts of Afghanistan to the jungles and drug cartels of Columbia. Randy served his country many ways. After 15 years of continuous under cover work, being captured and tortured he managed to escaped and fight his way to the US Embassy in Bogotá.

Joe West, a professional hunter and big game guide, is hired by the Mexican government to capture mountain lions terrorizing a village. Joined by his retired partner Kay, they expect an easy job and a vacation. 

After rescuing Kay from the cruel intentions of a mad man, Joe and Kay decide to sell their home in Chicago. When Joe met and married Kay, he had already sold his home in Montana. After buying a forty-acre construction site overlooking the river on a pine-studded hillside only a mile from Logan's ranch headquarters. 

Following a successful outfitters season, Joe needs to rest and get out of the snow. With Logan and Rene by his side. They head south for the Arizona desert.
